By accessing or using the Tap-to-Connect service offered by Made By CUX (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“you” or “the client”) agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this service.

1. Service Description

Our Tap-to-Connect platform allows you to create a public profile page that is accessible via an NFC business card. Each profile includes your provided contact and branding information, hosted on https://tap.madebycux.ca.

2. User-Provided Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you submit for your profile is accurate, up-to-date, and does not violate any third-party rights. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Business names

  • Logos or images

  • Personal names and contact details

  • Social media and website links

  • Profile bios or descriptions

You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on your Tap-to-Connect page.

3. Updates and Edits

Each Tap-to-Connect package includes two free profile updates per year. Additional updates may incur a service fee. Updates must be requested via email at Bridget@madebycux.ca.

Clients do not have login access to edit their page directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use your Tap-to-Connect profile to:

  • Display offensive, defamatory, or illegal content

  • Misrepresent your identity or business

  • Host malware or harmful code
    Violation of this clause may result in the immediate removal of your profile without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All branding, designs, and technology developed for the Tap-to-Connect platform remain the intellectual property of Made By CUX. You may not copy, replicate, or resell the structure or functionality without written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

Made By CUX is not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss resulting from use or misuse of your Tap card or profile

  • Issues caused by third-party hosting providers or internet outages

  • Content errors provided by the user

This service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to remove or deactivate any profile at our discretion, especially if it violates these terms or contains harmful or illegal material.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of your Tap-to-Connect profile after any changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
